Why 1600?
The next generation of DDR3 has arrived. New chipsets and processors from AMD® and Intel® now support memory operating at 1600MT/s (aka 1600MHz). DDR3-1600 memory has a module classification of PC3-12800, which effectively means the peak data rate of the module is 12.8GB/sec (see table). That’s about a 17% improvement on memory bandwidth over DDR3-1333.
HyperX HX421C14FB/4 is a 512M x 64-bit (4GB) DDR4-2133 CL14
SDRAM (Synchronous DRAM) 1Rx8, memory module, based on
eight 512M x 8-bit FBGA components per module. Each module
kit supports Intel® Extreme Memory Profiles (Intel® XMP)
2.0. Each module has been tested to run at DDR4-2133 at a low
latency timing of 14-14-14 at 1.2V. Additional timing parameters
are shown in the Plug-N-Play (PnP) Timing Parameters
section below. The JEDEC standard electrical and
mechanical specifications are as follows:
